surf the Mobile Internet using your current ISP?

Do you have a POP3 or IMAP internet service provider? You can use your ISP settings to send and receive personal email and to surf the Mobile Internet right from your T39.

Select Data Comm. and Add Accounts? from the sub-menu.
  Establish a Data Communication provider
You must setup a Data Account in your T39m to access ISP or Wireless Operator. This is very much like setting up DUN on your PC. Select Add Account? from the Data Accounts submenu. Next you should select the GSM Data service option. At this point you will need settings for your Internet Service Provider. You will need the following:

~ Do you have a user name or sign in name and password? Enter only the User ID not the service name following the @ symbol
~ Passwd request: off
~ Data Rate: 9.6 kb is typical
~ Dial type: analog is often default
~ DNS address: '....' leave this empty

Setting up your Email
Now you will need to setup you Email Services from the Messages Menu in order to Send & Recieve Mail. Select the Options Sub Menu and from within select EMail. Now select Set Account? You should be prompted to Add new? You will need settings for your Internet Service Provider mail services.
~ Account Name: Name this to identify this mail service.
Select Connect Using to determine which account you will be dialing from if you have multiple.
~ POP3 Server: This is usually postoffice.(providers name).net
~ POP3 port: Is typically 110
~ Mailbox: This is your UserName and is usually the first part of the email address. Username@service.net

Data Accounts: GSM or GPRS
What is the difference between GPRS and GSM data? If you have a GPRS (General Packet Radio Services) account established your wireless operator than you will probably already have a WAP profile loaded in your mobile. If you do not, than GSM Data is the Preferred Service and as standard as Dial Up networking from your PC at home. You will need a GSM Data service subscription from your wireless operator in order for your Data comm. to work correctly.

WAP Services
From the WAP Settings sub menu select your profile to edit. Each profile defines which homepage loads with each service provider.

Your Wireless Operator has predefined settings that
are not always published. Handsets sold by the Wireless Operator
may have already loaded these settings for their service offering while
disabling several menu options.
